I could maybe go along with this except for two things:

1. Why would Pruitt leave his alma mater to come to UT for the same job? There is little rationale to that. If he is involved it is for head coach and nothing else.

2. Too much smoke around the DC's. These are legit leaks not rumors. There has been absolutely zero smoke surrounding Gruden since Fulmer took over.

coaches do interviews for many reasons.

the MAIN reason is that it enhances their brand and perceived value when its time to get a contract.

this is the game that agents play and promote.

when will people ever learn this ???

I think you might have been my first twitter follow and as I kept an open mind I've realized it's always been fluid in the sense no official commitment had happened and things could change.

I appreciate all input that is offered respectfully and, tbh, I've enjoy watching it all.

Damn hey Beav. You slipped right by me... I know for sure you did help ignite the fire in our fanbase to flush out the rats and supported our cries to not settle for mediocrity. But dammit, it sure looks like we are going to get "unproven" (which could equate to mediocrity, who knows).

No. Early signing period changes things, you want a coach in place before that rolls around.
