Yeah. I agree. And I posted something similar. Just saying that Kirby walked into a good situation. But he’s the coach now and obviously coaching them well.

Pretty strong endorsement. My question to those who don’t like this potential hire, is who would you rather have that isn’t named Gruden and is a realistic option?

Plus he is the coach that the fans had been screaming for for several years. They sold out the spring game in his first year. The fan base was instantly invigorated and that carried over into recruiting. (all things Gruden would accomplish but Pruitt does not)

Everyone is down today, because there is still no announcement. When you have a search (especially like this one) and you are in the media, you have to try and stay ahead and report SOMETHING.... that is their careers and they are held responsible to report something and HOPE it comes true. Right now the most realistic scenario is to hire Pruitt.... and that might happen, but most people see a post and run with it and let their emotions get in front of rational thinking.....
Take the Les story.... one Yahoo reporter says Miles is out.... everyone in our media took it and ran with it.... I wouldn't be surprised if he is still a candidate

Who the F cares. It's all subjective and opinion and guesses. It's all a gamble.

We will look back in 3-5 years and have an answer as to how the new hire will be viewed. Aside from that, it's no different than talking about Christmas gifts.

What have you bought and why, then i'll tell you what I bought and why then we can talk about who those gifts are going to......trivial and mind numbing.

Not trying to ruin a "good debate" but that ain't happening in here, right now.
