Don't get too wrapped up in the whole "mystery candidate being Gruden" theory. There is a chance that could be the most epic smokescreen in history where he is concerned, but what are the chances? That we are still talking to Pruitt for DC and Tee as OC to avoid having Gruden contact them directly? Common sense says if Gruden wanted to talk to them, a simple phone call would suffice.

If anything, someone expressed interest in the position at some point yesterday that hasn't been previously discussed in the news. And it's unknown who that is, but it's probably not Gruden. Let's see how this thing unfolds and hope this name is "splashy" enough to appease the majority of the fan base, boosters and UT Admin.

Not going to happen.

Bob is content to sit in Norman and slap hands with boosters and get more money at the moment. He's also not doing anything to take away from OU going to the playoffs.

I think we all forgot this because we were so excited yesterday and wanted to believe what we wanted to. The poop or get off the pop pic yesterday, I feel was about Gruden but I could be wrong. He could of been meaning someone else was holding things up.

The suit, I feel was either him saying interviews were done for the day and it was time to get ready for the show las night or it meant that the coaching search was over.

PaulVol if you turn out to be correct and this thing isn't a Jeremy Pruitt as HC, then I might have to nominate you as our next governor.

This thread and ideas like the above begin to smell more and more like a retread of the old CB radio craze. All the friendliness, flirting, great handles, great conversations and camaraderie, work super until a group meets face to face. Lots of awkward pauses, missing teeth, belly rolls, bald heads, and bad tattoos are the bulk of who shows up ... and that's just the chicks. Trust Tngirl, you want that element of mystery to continue, reality bites.

I agree, however why not just come out and say something in a "vague" way if needed.......these cryptic gif's aren't too cute IMO
