if true this really sucks and i cant really support any of them......

we'd be better off with Tee Martin as the HC with a premier staff and top recruiters (or Lane but I understand that won't happen). I guess it was too much for us to hope for an earth shaking hire. It seems our admin always sets a low bar. So I guess we will roll the dice and hope for something better than Jones.

Odds are that one of these DC's will fail as a head coach so the DC that we hired on the cheap will get a 10 mill buyout on the back end. When will this damn #@$@$ university grasp the concept of paying on the front end for a top coach. I guess those controlling powers have not had enough of losing, paying buyouts and hiring scrubs on a wing and prayer.

Our admin just plain sucks........... If they do hire a coordinator not name Tee then I will no longer be invested. Still want Gruden but I think we blew it......

Ok, and? I wish Tennessee could make a splash hire like Gruden but that's just not Tennessee. Tennessee hasn't made a splash hire since Johnny Majors, it's tries to Bruce Pearl coaching searches. Go cheap and hope it works out, I think this thing has been a massive troll job by someone with a sick sense of humor and way too much time on their hands.

Unless you like the idea of coaching at your Alma Mater, in a stadium that generally stays full all year instead of when your 8 games in and winning..

USC has the fan base emotion of a brick compared to UT
