For those about to freak out that we aren’t hiring gruden or the lord almighty

what if we have made several inquiries about several “better” coaches to agents (most of whom are shared with a single agent so a talk to them is all that is needed in some cases) and they weren’t interested from the start.

I will support whatever Fulmer thinks is best right now. What we want to happen may not be possible right now. We have to do the best we can and surround them with top staff and recruiters and anything is possible.

No one is talking to ANY of the people on Fulmer's list to fill a HC vacancy either. This search has been a joke. And apparently the entire administration needs to be nuked, not just Haslam.

WE as fans do not not anybody that they have talked to other than the media leaks somebody wants us to know . That’s why we are on here everyday , many times a day looking for any bit of info we can get .

Preaching to the choir here, but this hire is the most important hire of a football coach in my lifetime. They screw this up, we are dead for the next ten years, maybe longer. We finished this year at the very bottom of the SEC. Tennessee should never ever be remotely close to the bottom.

Stop thinking small and go get someone who will return Tennessee to the top again.

If they don't do that, prepare for more generations of fans picking UGA, Bama, Clemson, etc. Prepare for an apathetic fan base if those left. Prepare for 20,000 empty seats every game. Prepare to continue to be the laughingstock of college football who only the oldest of people remember Tennessee as a great program.

That is where we are at.
