I do know who is right and who is wrong... I have not been an apologist for Beaver by any means nor have I for any of the insiders... I have said when I thought they were wrong and posted so... but... All these folks coming in here declaring that this thread is all wrong and we have been duped are a little premature I would suggest......

Not to mention the entertainment that posting here has brought to us who have been here faithfully.

I for one will never forget the good friends I have made in here and the many laughs along the way.

What ever happens.... it has been well worth the ride and certainly was more entertaining that watching UT football this season

The jet is an F14 on a carrier deck. The scene is from Top Gun. That is Tom Cruise (Maverick) in the pic. My only thought as to what it means is the following:
Top Gun
Tomcat
Kick the tires and light the fires.

I’ve seen top gun so many times, I can’t count them, but it’s definitely from Top Gun. Wingmen are a big theme in the movie, maybe they could be referring to Gruden’s hunt for his wingmen.

This is a good post. I love this thread regardless. I am also clinging to hope it’s Gruden. I just don’t like being fed lies from someone pretending to be an insider, and mismanaging our expectations. Beav is one of them IMO. With that being said, I still am praying for a BOOM of epic proportions.

Nobody should doubt Atlanta Vol. He has given away numerous tickets and sums of money to different causes. When one member of this forum’s ticket delivery got messed up, he literally called a day before the game and got her skybox tickets.

Have all of you honestly deluded yourselves into believing that Jeremy Pruitt, Mel Tucker, or Kevin Steele are markedly better hires than Greg Schiano, whose potential hiring created such a heretofore-unforeseen maelstrom of anger, disgust and vitriol that the UTAD collapsed on itself?

Do not pretend it was the Penn State allegations. They were damning but auxiliary to the fact that Schiano was an ABSYMAL choice for a program that expects greatness.

Where is the outrage? Where are the Rock painters? If any of the three mentioned above are named Head Coach, the revolution was toothless.

Are you all afraid of calling out VFLs as bad hires? Because Kevin Steele is not an elite choice, Vol or not. If Fulmer thinks any of these three will return UT to respectability, he is even more delusional than this fanbase.

Mel Tucker and Jeremy Pruitt are certainly not better choices than the DOZEN other options we have had.
