I'm so so nervous. Please Gruden say yes. This would mean more to the future of Tennessee Football then anyone would ever know

If it’s not Gruden, I can get behind Morris. His record as a HC is deceiving because he took over a 1 win team and rebuilt the program. That is impressive. He can recruit as well and has a very good offensive mind. With a good DC, maybe Steele,he would do very well at UT.

If Fulmer is forcing this Gruden expedition to a fork in the road, good for him. I am good with Gruden as coach or MNF analyst but, not both. I'd rather have Miles, Martin, Venables, or Pruitt than more Gruden rumors.

Yesterday Gruden was a no. Then something mid afternoon shifted and I thought. it was the news I got that Petersen interviewed. Then Gruden doesn’t say no on TV and Petersen turned it down last night. Now, Show is upbeat. I’m here and working up my optimism again. But my wife left for a week, I have all 4 kids by myself and I received the text that it’s between Miles and Morris. Totally underwhelmed. And it’s raining. I’m a little grumpy up here but I’ll get over it. 😉

I understand. It's been a rough ride. I just said that cause your threw the delusional in there.

Brohm is more like a more mature and experienced version of Kiffin. Is that better? He's certainly no Dooley or Butch - two guys who really hadn't achieved much or shown they could develop talent before coming to Knoxville.

Damn, gotta go to some meetings, I suppose subtle rumors without substance; i.e. pretty quite, is a good thing. I'll bet Haslam makes sure there are all kinds of weird leaks in order to divide the fan base, but rumors without substance are a lost cause. Later Grudenites !

Disagree.

Please...this has nothing to do with the "ride". Take away the last 5 years, Grudens name, the protracted coaching search, and I would feel exactly the same about Jeff Brohm.

Let me rephrase that it was a tweet and it was from @volquest1986. Don't know how credible he is but someone else also posted that the team had been called to an 11am meeting. Sorry been following this board for months but don't know how to attach the link from mobile.

Catching up this morning. Got a text from a friend of Thunder. Here is the summation. Basically stuff we already know. But relaying the info for confirmation.

Gruden met with TN Sunday.
He has until today to make a decision.
Thunder is pushing Gruden #1 And Miles #2. Both with Tee as OC. HCIW

And when I asked if thunder thought gruden would accept. Here is the response.

"He is unsure. Said that Currie deal had him pretty hot. Now it's more of an image comcern after they turned us into a national **** show."

Like i said, this is third hand info, so TIFWIW
