Since they were talking about the UT job on MNF and grudens co host specifically brought up Jon answering a call or whatever if gruden knows he's not interested he should have denied right there!!! It’s pretty simple. Gruden didn’t want to go there tonight and never discussed it with his partner. His partner was calling him out and he didnt bite and moved on. Gruden is keeping his options open. Like he said never say never. He might want a God awful lot of money that he isn’t sure if Fulmer can round up from the donors. I’m sure that is part of Fulmers job right now. I’m sure if he wants to pay 8 mil he has to have a bunch of donors on the hook. If he wants to pay 10 for Gruden he had better have some of the big money guys backing the decision. Fulmer and Gruden are both juggling!

I know for a fact (as well as a lot of other insiders it seems) that Les Miles is our #2 option behind Gruden. And that is 100% already done as a plan B. My buddy is good friends with Chief's son. Gonna be a Chavis/Miles/Martin package.

Gruden loves Tennessee, he doesnt want to lose his respect among Vol Nation.I honestly believe this is his home, (or at least his wife's), he knows the repercussions of teasing. He doesnt want to lose that fandom. He has had at least 3 oppurtunities that i know of to put the rumors to rest, and he has far from said no. Even went on to talk about how much he loved the song rocky top, never say never, silence..... first time he was asked about Giants, shot it down. There is more to these Grumors people.

I want Gruden as much as anybody but I took it as Tennessee called and he didn’t answer.

How are y’all taking that as a positive? Are we so caught up in hope that we allow it to override rational thinking?

If he has a timeline to decide by tomorrow as some have suggested, maybe it was a reference to him not answering yet? I almost fell off the couch when they started talking about it. I am going to be so mad if he has let this go on this long and not addressed it if he isn’t interested.

Calm down dude. Boro doesnt tell us what he hears. For all we know the super secret cool kid group could be passing around a "if he says this or that its the answer" memo.

I said earlier everything isnt scripted code man. But 99.9% of us dont hear **** privately.

Its a simple question. Boro answered it how I knew he would. No biggie.
