I'm mostly with you on this too. I doubt he would do that - how was it described as a farewell? - if it wasn't already out there and leaked. I can't see him just dropping on a bomb on MNF. Not sourced just a hunch having worked in collegiate and professional athletics. It would be highly unprofessional for it to go down like that and as we've all seen from JG he very much cares about his brand and how he is perceived.

Why unprofessional? What better way to announce it? I think the AD would be good with it. Great publicity. But, I doubt it would happen.
