Or PAC12.

If OSU wanted in they shouldn't have got blown out by Iowa.

Or lost a second game.

At the end of the day, I think that was the key difference between Bama and Ohio State for the Committee. They have never included a 2-loss team in the playoffs.

I think six would be silly. If they're going to a three week system, just go all the way to eight.

Yeah, six (or other non-powers of 2) is problematic in football in ways that it isn't in basketball, baseball, or other sports. The toll of each game is SO much heavier that it becomes patently unfair.

If you don't think they can be the #1 team enough not to saddle the with this uneven burden, just leave them out entirely.

And the corollary is, if you think they MIGHT actually be the best team, don't disadvantage them so severely compared to others.

So yeah. Next step would probably be 8, though I'd prefer staying at 4.

Guys I’m all for Gruden but can y’all please stop letting Beav troll you?

I love my fellow VN fanbase, it’s hard to watch y’all get strung along like this.

Doyle, not sure where I read it, might even have been on here, but just to make sure you're aware - there were reports from some of the Haslam backlash that Jimmy would likely start spreading rumors that players were being paid back when CPF was head coach, and there likely would be one or two players come forward to state as much - just FYI

Nothing would surprise me but if players were being paid, where would such money have come from? Probably Haslam. There is also the Arian Foster remarks that totally contradict any players getting paid.

Dayum I’ve been all in on gruden with some skepticism “see it when I believe it”. But I’m so drained from the waiting & all these different leaks to support or negate gruden. Let’s get this announced !!! That being said
GRUDEN SOON

While I would like that, in Freak's notes, it said Fulmer wouldn't have taken job if just interim basis.

I can speak specifically to the Blackburn question....please don't ask how.

He is not likely ever coming as AD. It's a shame...but it's true.
