Thanks:
FWIW one of the mods on TOS said last night the only 2 coaches Cade Mays would talk to from UT are Gruden and Miles. Siap
This and we could blame it on the hillbillies' lack of respect for elite society and proper manners. As soon as there is an agreement, if there is an agreement, it needs to be announced immediately. Until this morning, I thought it would be best if it waited until after MNF game, not the MNF season.
I thought if it were to be announced on a Sunday, it would still be new enough to distract attention away from the game, an NFL game. The NFL isn't what it used to be, but its still a pretty big business.
Anyway, blah blah blah, I had an opinion and I changed my mind.
The first thought that comes to mind, emails of support from the fan base to Bev, Pres, and Fulmer. Haslam should be loud and noisy and in the public eye as much as possible, including twitter.

I don't understand why EVERYTHING has to be a smoke screen. No other universities do that when they are hiring a new coach. Why would we? Makes ZERO sense
Let the fraud case against Haslam shake out. Hes doing a pretty good job of putting gas on his own fire. The university will not let his name stay on buildings if his image is tarnished.
Thought Mr. Anderson is head of the athletics committee- that would put him smack dab in the middle of this.
Seems I saw a list of committees here at one point.

I think Phil is doing his due diligence. Just like Gruden, a lot of fans were/are on the Les Miles train, and I believe Les is interested too. Out of respect and to explore every option, I am glad they are reaching out to him. Not my number one choice, but for me, he is in the top five for sure.
