Reza Zarrab, a Turkish businessman accused of violating U.S. sanctions on Iran, has pleaded guilty and will testify against his co-defendant, a federal court heard Tuesday. Zarrab’s cooperation with federal prosecutors could have implications for Michael Flynn, who allegedly plotted on behalf of Turkish interests to help free Zarrab.

Zarrab’s cooperation with federal prosecutors raised speculation that he was also cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller’s inquiry into Flynn, because it seemed unlikely prosecutors would offer a plea deal to Zarrab in exchange for his cooperation for the comparatively lower-profile trial of Atilla.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), filed the complaint Tuesday with the Department of Justice regarding Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.
CREW said Kobach is paid to write columns for Breitbart News.
One column — which Kobach later brought up during a New Hampshire meeting of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity — made claims about voter fraud in New Hampshire, according to the group.
Part of his biography at the bottom of the column said: “In 2017 President Trump named him Vice Chairman of the Presidential Commission on Election Integrity,”

Mick it seems like you are all but alone in this thread now. Many of your fellow libs have abandoned ship it seems. I think they may have finally seen the light to how pointless all of this really is. What a waste of time and attention this whole thing was.

I mean guys like volprof, luther are virtually nonexistent in here now. Yet you do seem to post some links to developing stories. I wonder why the normally staunch supporters of Trumps treason have been MIA?

Trump apologists can no longer call this a "made up story", a "hoax" or "fake news". The Mueller investigation has now yielded a felony conviction of someone who was a member of both the Trump campaign and the Trump administration. I think Kushner goes in the cross hairs next. This is just the beginning. The decision to hire Flynn as National Security Adviser was beyond stupid. Trump had many red flags on him.

I don't think anyone is saying that at all. That is simply what Flynn and his attorneys have agreed to plead guilty to in exchange for his cooperation in the Mueller investigation... and lying to the FBI is no small thing. Michael Flynn is a convicted felon now.

Here's the thing... It's already gone somewhere. A former member of the Trump campaign and Trump administration has pleaded guilty to a felony as a result of the Mueller investigation.

Nice try but the reality is that Obama fired Flynn as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014 and warned Trump against hiring him last November. Trump ignored that warning. Flynn was a high profile member of Trump's campaign last year. He never worked for an Obama campaign.

So the word is Obama warned Trump of Flynn. That’s coming from Obama and his staff. But no one else heard that conversation and only 2 people know if that’s true or not. Maybe Mueller will question Obama.
