My fears are correct - we are much more likely to see a 10 loss season and the 30k or fewer butts in the stands than we are to see a return to national relevance in the next five years.

This is a complete circus and, despite the last 10 years, we have not hit rock bottom.

oh well....let it happen. They did it o themselves and maybe thats what needs to happen to spark real change.

Holy crap this is real?

I'm going to wait and see with this Fulmer stuff. I know for a fact Fulmer loves this university. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Currie should have never been hired to begin with.

We have a bunch of children working in the UT administration. Fighting over power. No different than a couple of kids fighting over the same toy. I love UT football, but sometimes you need a famine. We’re about to get one.

Haslams leave now. You are not to have anything else to do with Tennessee. I mean nothing. Fire Bev. Get Leach. Get it done Prez or we may come after you too.

Is this a classic movie Hero/Villain swap? Was Currie the good guy all along??

If it’s true that Brohm, Leach, and Gundy were Currie guys and the higher ups blocked them while Peyton and Phil led the charge to hire Schiano and Dorean, I know where I’ll stand.

Yep, if Fulmer doesn't get Leach or someone better, then it proves HE was the puppet of the Haslams and HE INDEED was trying to undermine the entire hiring process. So A guy that says he loves UT and coached here, is willing to sacrifice the program maybe long term to make a point or win a job? At the cost of the football program?

Swain's happy

Frick Swain, frick Fulmer, and frick anyone else still wanting Fulmer in the AD. He just sabotaged the best hire we could make for nothing more than petty control over a sinking ship.

Hold on. So Fulmer has been undermining Currie? Now that sounds bad.

However, if he undermined Currie in the hiring of Schiano and Doeren, heck, he needed to be undermined! But if he also did it with Gundy and Brohm only because he wants to be AD, well, that sucks and its wrong.

I kinda dont want it to end now. Heck im entertained

This is imo the best game we've had all year and I still want it to end where we all started this search/fight, with someone who will come in here and consistently compete for championships.

We may all need to keep in mind some of our posters here on VN are boosters engaged on the front lines in this fight. They have and are going to the mattresses and while I'm pulling for them we won't really know if they won or not until a new coach is announced. We've clearly won some battles but the game is not yet over. jmo.
