I am starting to think that firing Currie is a pipe dream before this search ends. I know I will get called apathetic and flamed for posting this. I'm trying to stay the course with contacting the university and encouraging others everywhere I can, but I feel it is falling on deaf ears. I would like SOME sign that we have a chance of this happening.

Sorry folks, I'm just tired. Watching something you love get destroyed wears on you...

We get it, but here's your problem champ. While the fans are holding up their end of the deal, Exile alluded last night that the boosters who were so "outraged" are not holding up their end of the deal.

They've been bought my man, at this point, the question is, do we continue to make ourselves look foolish? Or do we get behind a coach who can actually develop talent and do more with less?

Leach is a damn fine coach, we keep up and we'll end up with a coach like Doeren.

Do you want that?

Do 5 stars typically think: "Man, I would love to go to Washington State!" You're forgetting where he's at and the facilities he has. Dude can develop, which is much larger than recruiting--see Butch Jones to defend my stance.

John needs to go before we hire. Installing a new AD may take some time. David is not a candidate and mostly likely will not be for the foreseeable future. I would suggest to start beating the drum for Charles (Davis). That is where my attention has turned in the meetings and discussions I have been apart of over the last 24hrs.

But that's just it. We don't know if Gruden is out. He's never said anything one way or the other which makes me believe he's still in play if we get Currie out.

This is EXACTLY where my head is as well. Frankly I'll give my initial support to anyone leading the Vols as HC going into the 2018 season. That said if that person fields a team that is incapable of competing in the SEC, similar to what we saw this past season, my support ends at that point, and I'll want the entire UTAD emptied out including Currie and anyone who helped bring him back to UT as AD. You simply cannot ask Vols and their fans who routinely put >100k people in Neyland and has one of the most profitable football programs in the country at >$100 million per year coming in to watch another xxxt show or $4 million per failed hire.

If that’s the case then it’s all for not. I doubt seriously that Charlie has been bought. He’s the main booster opposed to Hoh. I get what your saying but it seems Leach was thrown out there to stop the fans instead of the right reasons

We don’t want them around, the media doesent want them around. They both know it or one wouldn’t be hiding and the other wouldn’t be blaming the fans.

I just heard some news that falls right in line with all this Haslam BS.

When Debord left Butch was handcuffed on his OC hire. I'm hearing he was told that he basically had a 650,000 dollar cutoff to hire an OC from Hart which we all know was really Haslam.


They knew he would fail. Now watching this coaching search and not wanting to spend money I have to ask again. Why do they not want to see Tennessee football back on top?

Someone show me proof he can coach. This is pissing me off. How many players has he put in the league? Championships won? Don’t give me this crap about his great offensive mind. What has it produced?

As of today, I’m pulling for a Scott Satterdield or revisit of Dave Doeren. This fan base obviously hasn’t had a big enough wake up call. Burn this thing down.

It has been a bizarre circus and he probably is interviewing for a job....

We have been told that CPF is in charge of the Coach Search....

The Media is trolling us and so is the Administration...

The Carosal of coaching interviews is another smokesreen for the change of power...

Expectations low.

No Matter what happens, who we hire, Currie will never be accepted as AD or respected. He should be gone or the Administration will never save face. He could sign Gruden, Frost or whoever, but Currie will never be accepted. He is dead to a majority of Fans at UT

There are too many nuts that will go public, examples the guy that followed him through the stadium and heckled him about hiring Gruden... Maybe not Gruden but anybody he hires or any position he tries to fill.

Currie has got little support and confidence of the UT Family right now...
