I held it down while you all slept. I’m checking out in about 3 hours and I have expect you clowns to have this wrapped up by the time I wake

I posted the other day in another thread that by not doing anything for this university monetarily and seeing the sh** show and being reminded of why I haven't donated for quite some time because honestly, I've viewed the entire UT administration and it's incompetence spread to the Athletic side, that right now reminds me of just why it is important t get and be involved, same as politics.

I'm embarrassed ashamed, pissed, let down, tired, and just down right disgusted with what perception this University has allowed itself to be exposed as.

Yesterday, I had 241 people help, they never laughed, feigned, paused, or hesitated to help with my request.

241 emails sent, to 6 emails @ utk
241 tweets, followed tweets
194 calls to at least 1 number
241 facebook posts, at least once

Of the 241, multiple of each were done multiple times by 185

Yes, I spent last night calling and texting and emailing all of them! Thanking them!

These people come from all walks of life, from childhood and college and neighbors and friends and business associates.

They did what they did because they know UT means something to me, I was born by the grace of God in UT hospital, I was raised with orange because my dad got a few degrees from UT.

I attended UT with some childhood friends who unbeknownst to me were at UT! I bleed orange, and love what UT is to me. I got to see the glory years and the national championship while at UT, and football is the extension of this university nationally.

I guess that just on this board we are the freaks of the UT community. We are the die hard weirdo's, and whether on the /Gruden train or not, we represent the most loyal of the UT crazies.

This board has people from all walks of life, but, we all love UT with a passion almost only equal to military serviceman and women and that community.

I pray that we are lifted from this sideshow and into the the main stage and the nation can see a little of what we do, when were are winning and the crowds are uncontrollable and the people are 100% emotion and fire.

We deserve better! We deserve to be proud! We deserve to have that feeling that we once did, and God help us, we are giving back that by this administration!

You mother f****** on the Hill better get this done and get it done right! We the fans, deserve it!

You issued this before with another candidate. It’s becoming the anti-cobra.

I’m surprised to find myself more excited about Leach than any coach that we’ve legitimately talked with. I think it’s the combination of knowing he’s a great coach and it sounds like he wants to be here.

I have no idea if he could win us a national title but I think he’d be a bunch of fun to watch.

Also, calling it. If Leach comes, McBride will be the guy. His offense requires quick decision making and early throws, which is the huge weakness of JG

It might be way too late anyways, but whats the chance of the Air Raid offense being sexy enough to lure Lawrence or Fields? Or those types of QB's in future years? Does the Air Raid style offense lend well to getting QB's drafted?

Alontae made a comment a few weeks back re: Gruden possiblity, and he said something to the effect of "Well I hope he airs it out" (paraphrasing off my terrible memory) so I would imagine he'd give us another look.

What are the chances we get Lynn J-Dixon back with this hire?

I know its all speculatory at this point, but is there anyone else we should be on the lookout for, as far as having renewed interest in Tennessee now?

Sorry for all the questions..... I haven't even had coffee yet. I woke up and have this adrenaline like buzz in excitement for my Tennessee Volunteers again!

To go from thinking Dave Doeren was the guy to maybe getting Leach? Wow

Unlikely in those Quarterbacks, because a lot of quarterbacks want to go under center to prepare for a pro style. Wide receivers absolutely love this offense. Running backs are not featured a lot as ball carriers but they do get a lot of receptions. I don’t think Dixon would be interested
