Bro. I was about to write off a 40 year love. I was born in Knoxville while my dad was attending UT and have been going to games since. Give me five minutes with the thought of some excitement again. Leach at the very least gives me that.

I think at this point with all the chaos he is the best suited for UT right now.

I agree until change at the top we will never be great but no good coach would touch us.

I hope he changes a little given what he has here and adapts to our strengths and brings in too flight assistants. Keep G for have recruiting and great coaching.

If by ourselves, you mean our administration. I agree, Leach isn't even top 5. But our administration zeroed in on Schiano. It sucks for us to have to deal with it, but Leach is probably the best Currie can land. If we fire Currie, sure, we should set our bar higher; but no elite coach who can win championships is going to come work for someone whose first choice was Schiano.

I agree. I'm all for the hire of Leach. We think that our backs are going to leave because he doesn't run the ball. We didn't run the ball this year. Granted, that statistic is skewed because our offense wasn't on the field for more than 3 plays at a time. :hi:

If it is Leach we will never beat Bama, UGA, UF or any other team with a good defense. You also aren't getting kids like Cade Mays to stand there and pass block. You aren't getting RB's because they run the ball like 10-15 times a game. You aren't getting QB's because that offense doesn't translate to the NFL.

No way Chandler stays here to get 10 carries a game the rest of his career.

You're crazy if you think any kid from the South is going to play in that offense over playing at UF, UGA, Bama, FSU, Auburn, Clemson, or any of the other big schools.

Can't be worse than we have had and you never know.

This isn’t 2002. The SEC isn’t a 3 yards and a cloud of dust conference anymore. College football in general isn’t. Score points and get turnovers/big plays on defense. 13-10 games are a rarity now.
