This week is either the biggest fxxkup of coaching search in history or the most elaborate and most well thought out smokescreen ever. I choose to believe the latter. Seems like we should know something by weekend. Weekend is biggest college football weekend. Keep hope alive

Sources tell @NBCDFWSports that former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is working on a deal to become the next coach at Tennessee. A deal could be announced Friday. I’m working on more details.

we can pitch our fits all we want to (and we should) but ultimately, it's gonna take enough big money boosters going nuclear to make a difference. somebody internally makes a stand, others follow, dominos fall.

may as well support tee, or lane, or les, or doeoran, or dooley, or butch or whoever. it'll never change. we can only hope to catch lightening in a bottle.

Yeap I agree - ultimately unless enough big money boosters step up and say no more - vocally and in the media - we are doomed!

Yes I am and I’m ok with that. If none of it is true so be it. It is what it is and life moves on. But I choose not to believe it. I believe it’s gruden. The man has not one time publicly turned down this job! Never say never to anything man

Now on the real if someone with the means to do this can do this. Go back to when the gruden info started dropping. The beginning. Bullet point every single bit of info that we were brought that can be considered credible for volnation. Good or bad. Bullet point all of it and let’s see what it looks like.

chancellor and president won't sign off on leach ... remember him locking that player in the closet at TT (something like that)?

edit: furthermore, leach has pretty much lived that down, won't want it brought back up ... see schiano.
