All you're doing is chasing the market down. Our stock is falling and some opportunistic rock-bottom guy is going to get an offer, take it and not GAF what fans think. He'll get paid, win or lose, full stadium or empty, happy fans or mad ones, so he's going to grab that golden parachute and ride it out.

To want Les and Tee?

It should have happened after Sun. But its time to hit the reset button, pull Currie back and start a new search with someone else.

Either Currie is being stonewalled by UT or he is the reason no one wants the job. Either way, if he's gone it solves the current problem.

And before everyone jumps on his buyout he's gonna cost UT more than that the day he announces the next coach we are firing in 3 to 4.

No reason to allow it to linger anymore.

Don’t fire him.
Just tell him he’s no longer in charge of coaching hirings.
Fulmer now is.
Currie can carry Phil’s briefcase.

First time I've seen Sumlin's name mentioned by anyone besides Basilio who said it 30 minutes ago.

That's where we may go next for our next public embarrassment. Cuonzo will call him and shoot that one down if he even gives us a sniff. Gotta prove we had a black guy on the list though.

It is not a given that the next head coach will be a failure. There are plenty of good, cheap candidates available. They just keep trying to pick the wrong ones and we're trying our best to prevent it.

We're normally on the same page, but this doom and gloom thing has to stop. This situation will not affect recruiting so long as we make a good hire. Morris, Tee, Miles, Sumlin, etc. will all close strong and we will be competitive next year.

This is not the end of the world.

If it's true we're so cheap we weren't willing to pay Brohm's buyout, we have literally no chance of signing a good coach.

Since Doeren turned us down, it’s time to see if Beaver is legit. He tweeted that we needed to dodge this last bullet of Doeren declining, and then something about changes and we could go on our whale hunt.

Beaver, you and your legitimacy are on the clock.

The legitimacy clock expired a long time ago.

I still don't understand the whole Brohm deal. If it was the $5 million dollar buyout, that makes no sense. Any current coach is going to have a buyout. Even Doeren's was $3.36 million. Tomorrow Brohm's will be $4 million. Makes no sense at all. Miles has a zero buyout. Not sure of Kiffin (I don't really want him but he is a good coach). Tee as OC wouldn't be that much (again, I think he is green) but would still be better than Doeren.
