With all these weak ass names floating around can UT do one of 2 things. 1) Just drop the football program altogether. It's obvious they can NOT compete in the SEC or 2) join a different conference, let's say Horizon League, Conference USA, Ohio Valley Conference, MAC or Big Sky.

I don't like the hire, but this is the state of the program.

Sure, once again, get your feel of power while we go down to the next rung of football coaches.

Once we talk a coach into being overpaid, feel the power again when you trash the hire.

It is a downward, not upward, cycle.

Our protest over Schiano paled in comparison to the rock stupid Mizzou protest over a swastika in a bathroom that prompted them to refuse to play, unless their Prez stepped down. They got treated like heros by the national media, despite the fact there was ZERO evidence it was anything other than a stupid prank, and the cops weren't able to find who did it. Look at the difference in how we are treated by the media. We're doing it all wrong. Somebody scrawl a swastika in the Vols locker room, so we can pin it on Currie and demand he step down -- else UT is a racist institution. Watch the media take up our crusade.

And you wonder why great coaches are not jumping at the opportunity to represent this university and it's, so called, fan base.
