Insert any home run hire you would like just keep pressing. Believe it or not much of the Gruden stuff you have heard is true. If they reject all of Johns attempts why not put Gruden on the spot. This is all political now and people are starting to fear for their jobs. If John is out and Haslam takes the hit Gruden will be back in play. Bev is just dumb enough to be played by the masses and Joes ego will drive him to be a hero.

For an MOU, you need 4 signatures. President, AD, Chancellor, and President. Correct?

If there was an MOU for Gruden, Currie is the missing signature with blocks him for the moment?

For the Currie/Haslam coaches, the missing signatures are from the Chancellor and/or President?

Remove Currie and everything falls in line. Am I close?

A little more encouragement. One of the higher level boosters in my circle told a few of us last night the he would be surprised if John was the AD Jan 1 and Bev was the chancellor on March 1. What we may be seeing is she is trying to separate from him to save herself. Problem is that leaves John making the hire unless we keep pressing to render him lame. If Bev is feeling it that only helps.

Unless you are intentionally dense (see, troglodyte), you would know that there was (allegedly) a group who worked towards this end. This much is clear from the numerous disconnected sources indicating as much.

The scenario that makes sense is that the boosters got together and worked to arrange a set of terms that JG would agree to, that JG did indicate potential agreement to those terms, and then Currie went another direction - completely bamboozling everyone.

Take your ignorance elsewhere. It stinks. My delicate sensibilities are growing ill from your stench.

I'm doing all I can in Montgomery County. Life long resident, just a average citizen that has been a fan my entire life. I know many Vol fans in Montgomery County, many loyal fans and boosters. Almost all I talk to agree completely. We want UT to be all it can be, and this isn't it. It starts at the TOP, this is more important than 1 football season. This is about changing course at UT, the priority should be UT not the interest of a few that want nothing but the power and control.:rock:
