The ONLY way now at this point Gruden could be lured to UT is you make him AD & HC IMO. He's not going to work for some rinky dink AD he has little to no respect for such as Currie or even as compared to him an unknown Blackburn. I don't see Gruden working for anyone as AD except maybe a Fulmer, Majors, or Manning nobody less than these three.

The whole MOU thing was a fantasy like the house, like the multiple missed anouncements, like the "grand plans", phantom meetings that never happened, and smokescreens. But there is no way whatsoever that Haslam was going to say "sure, hire whoever you like as coach."

But until Jon Gruden or his agent says that he is not interested...

I don't disagree with anything you've said here, really. I'm holding out a little bit of Hope that the big donors who claim to oppose Haslam leadership can actually do something to get Currie out. If they can't, and he does make the higher, that's my cue to exit, stage left.

I don't see how he can sue the school. The school didn't ruin his name. Fans revolted and the school backed off because it was obvious Schiano wouldn't go over at UT. Unless legal documents were signed making him the coach I don't see how he's got any traction with the school.

How about the big rock that said we don’t want no pedophile? I can’t stand the guy and think he knew, but he probably does have some grounds for defamation. I’m no lawyer though.
