but why, if this is his alma mater, why does he want to see it be this dumpster fire that it is, for the last 10 years it been bad.. If money is no object, then get the best, and he would make more money

This may be way off base as far as describing Haslam because I have never met the man, but he seems to fit the narcissist personality. I’ve known a couple of severe narcissists personally, and the level of destruction they create and are completely unaware of or unsympathetic to, is astounding. You can not argue with irrational people. The problem is he is in a position of power which makes removing him difficult, messy, and very public.

My sources (who I trust and have have never let me down) are saying all of the Schiano and Gundy talk is just a smokescreen. They are doing this to drag the coaching search out to allow Gruden to finish this season of MNF. Last night at the bar, Beav, Atlvol and I discussed if we should release this information and we decided it was time to calm everyone down and let them know Gruden is still coming. Currie and company are getting huge raises after this for playing their act so well.

LMAO, right.

They've been saying it all along man, power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. When you can walk in and do whatever you want, why give that up because us "peons" aren't happy with the program?

true, but can he not see the writing on the sh!t stained wall that all the power that he has and it's still the same results... we sux...

My guess is Gruden ends the rumors about coaching at UT today on Golic show at 7:05. With the S*** Show going on now is the perfect chance to back out.

Of course he can, but it's the same thing with all the other people in history who have taken complete control of their country, business, etc. They become so powerful and dictatorial that they're blinded from the truth. They refuse to accept anyone else's opinions over their own. Why? Because they think what they're doing is bigger, better, and stronger. Until someone comes in and forcefully removes the Haslams, either financially or by other means (no not violence), then we will never see the Tennessee of old.

If he loves UT so much, it’s time to put up or shut up. End the trolling and come out with the truth.

It is clear now that Currie is not getting fired. He makes this hire, and we are stuck in the bottom of the SEC. If any so called insiders, or so called boosters could do anything it would be done by now. If Gruden was in play as stated here, they would have Currie overthrown and Gruden hired by now. It is clear who has power at UT and clear that nothing is ever gonna change. It is time to empty Neyland for real. Stop buying merchandise and anything related to UT. Cut the cash flow in a big way that is the ONLY way this changes, and it don't happen overnight as the fans had hoped.

Hopefully we hear it directly from the horses mouth, one way or another I truly hope Gruden addresses the situation.

I agree 100% as much crap out there you know he has heard it. It is time to put to bed if not interested. Or never come back!

I agree again.

I think this 'booster war' is nothing but a LARP from posters on here until I see otherwise.

Why did Blackburn leave UTC and what is he doing now? Starting to think he’s the Beav or at least very close to him.

I think it's time that everyone stops smelling the roses. Gruden was never coming. It's pretty obvious that we never approached him, so why would he honestly consider us now? As long as Currie is here, he's not going to come. He probably feels as insulted as we do, so why come and work for that man? Instead of holding onto hope, I believe it's time we do what I'm doing today and what others have been doing all week: call the university and demand change. That's the only way we'll get where we all want to be. Otherwise we're going to be stuck with another Dooley or Butch, and thus be irrelevant for another decade.

Whoever is on the front line out there, carry a few of General Neylands Maxims with you....Godspeed !

3. If at first the game – or the breaks – go against you, don’t let up … PUT ON MORE STEAM !!

7. Carry the fight to the opponent and keep it there for sixty minutes....or however long it takes !!

Gruden....Ride or Die !!
