Is this wearing you out? It is me. Just look at these thread titles. We are down to pin the tail on the donkey.

I went to LSU and Vandy games. Interim coach would rather recieve a kick in a typhoon than wait a few minutes, just to get it over with. If the coach quits, you can't expect the team to keep going. I saw two games with little effort and it crossed my mind, "Why am I here?" I'm paying for a Ruth's Chris steak and getting a Waffle House steak instead. Alabama/Auburn is playing real football on TV and I'm being served up hot garbage in Neyland Stadium.

I dunno.. I'll probably be back. Maybe it can't get worse. 99Gator gets it.

Somebody cheer me up.

Im with you buddy. I feel so gut punched right now. I'm seriously contemplating if it's even worth caring about anymore.

I am seriously thinking about cheering for another team until the cancer can be removed from Tennessee. This is just so sickening.

Tennessee died a long time ago. The sad part is, when they march this guy we have to google about and it's clear he can't get the job done in a few years, you'll hear some of those fans love him because he's the only one that accepted the job and they'll stick by him no matter what. This is what accepting mediocre looks like and sadly it will only get worse.

i totally get where you’re coming from BOT. I could never cheer for another team, but I am seriously reconsidering renewing the seats in Section Q that have been in the family over 50 years. No offense to Kevin steele but if they hire him that may make the decision for me . Takes a lot of time , effort , and money to make that trip 6-7 times a year. And I only live in Hermitage. Can’t imagine coming from west TN to see this chit show

I thought it felt like Tennessee when Phil Fulmer was the coach, but everybody hated him, right from the beginning. People here in Kingsport were ready to fire him the first day. Hated Johnny Majors too. He seemed like Tennessee to me.

Way to deep for this site but...... society has changed and fans have changed. The fans who gave us the UT traditions we so love are gone. We are left with fans who's appreciation runs only as deep as who can win a championship within 2 years at any cost. I don't know that the glory days will ever return. Now back to the usual nonsense.

Look on the bright side.

Most of you aren't also Cleveland Browns fans.

I am.

A hearty meatloaf and potatoes helping of Haslam. I hear ya. We pretty much beat Vandy for 30 years. At least you weren't a commodore. I am beginning to understand what that might have been like.

sad but true. Started going to games in ‘86 , but it was with my grandparents . So I’m an old soul trapped in a younger mans body As it pertains to the Big Orange. Times are tough my friends , but let’s not lose heart. Screw the media , the SEC, and anybody else trying to kick us while we’re down. We’ll get up someday and there will be hell to pay . GBO!

The fans that gave us these traditions never suffered through Kiffin, Dooley, and Butch .... back to back to back.

And then had Greg Schiano trotted out as the next in line.

Get off the high horse.

We’re rightly pissed off.

Dreaming of the days of Johnny Majors, Phil Fulmer, Bob Woodruf, Doug Dickey and John Ward.

Majors had a losing overall record in his first 4 years. He would have been fired by this fan base if he did that today.
