I'll take the positive route here and say that good can come from bad. Now that the skeletons are out of the closet it becomes harder to pull your stunts. Maybe it finally brings change.

Also I don't care if I trust you or not if your paying me a lifetime worth of money

Jimmy is right again. In his show today he said Brohm gave very little interest and Morris sent word he is waiting in A&M job first. Unless something changes UT will hire Kevin Steele tomorrow

Venables doesn't seem like someone who is looking to become a head coach, but if he is interested, I would be much more interested in him than someone like Steele.

We could sure change Venable's money situation without breaking the bank.

Goodness. Well it sure was nice to see UT win at a high level when I was a kid but 1998 I was 10 years old and I can barely remember it now. I guess the program is actually nuked now. :mf_surrender:

I doubt Steele would interview till after title game this weekend. No way he’s doing that on a Wed after practice right?

Les Miles makes the most sense. It will stabilize things. Give us time to get our house in order (get rid of Currie and get DB or Phil in there, or both. Get him some good staff.

My plan 2 would be sumlin. I think he could do the same. Sumlin may not want to entertain it due to his friendship with Butch.

Other names that are likely on the list: Tee Martin, Brent Venables, Mike Norvell

Some other names to keep an eye on: Wittingham, Leach, Calhoun, Mike Houston, Bobby Petrino, Sumlin, Fuente, Strong, Applewhite,

Unfortunately no one knows where Currie is or who Currie is pursuing. I don't think half the coaches have been or ever will be contacted.
