Gundy met with UT in Dallas. Was he going to hop on the plane right then and there and never tell his team or even spend another second at his house?

Nah. Headed back to Stillwater. Needed to buy time to tell his players in person before they found out on Twitter.

At least, that's what I want to believe.

So we have no idea where Currie has been flying around when he visited in Washington, or Columbus. But now they're gonna let it show we were gonna fly to Stillwater? Gundy and his family could have wanted to see fans reaction before agreeing

I’m just so used to the letdown being true that I can’t even keep my optimism here, even tho the “he wants to tell the team first” talk makes perfect sense

A complete troll job because that plane with tracking info was supposed to be out of commission the rest of the year.

Or

This is a done deal and they are floating his name to see what the feedback is.

Or

Gundy wants another raise

Also, this is McMurphy's source., we aren't seeing this from other places yet....his source COULD be wrong (not saying it is).

All of this is being leaked for a reason. Think about it. The only UT possibility that was actively talked about by national media was Schiano. If this wasn't already far along, those dudes would have not picked up this story. Just be patient and flame the hell out of me tomorrow if I'm wrong.

As you can see only has 1200 followers on FB. He's not as tuned in as others. He just rehashed everything we already knew but threw in per sources a decision is not expected today. Which you can almost say about any big decision like this.

There's no way this goes from 0 to 100 and back to 0 just like that. Give it some time to play out. Still think we have a good shot with Gundy.
