After the circus that UT Football has turned into. You better pray Gundy would take this job. You might ought to make it an even 10 mil. No one else is coming!!

Oh he's way better than Mullen and it's not even close. Oh and Gundy won the Head 2 Head a few years ago. Case closed!

Head to Head is the best way to end this debate.Gundy beat Mullen in 2013 21-3..So that solves that.

And when you have had a sh*t show like UT has been turned into because of years of malfeasance and utter
douche-baggery by inept administration and leadership, the thought that they’re finally listening to the fan base is well worth that 8.4mil salary.

For 8 million, you could have Kiffin as head coach (4 million) Martin as OC (2 million) and Steele as DC (2 million). Or a mullet by itself.

Let’s recap.

Gundy: better overall record, won a head to head, and wanted by Tennessee and Florida more than Mullen.

Yet, Mullen is bestest.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Mullen is a very solid hire and capable coach. He scares me more at UF than Chip Kelly would.

You guys are LITERALLY about to make Mike Gundy the 3rd highest paid coach in America.

Go get a truly ELITE coach for that type of scratch, that's all I'm sayin'.

I have a feeling that most of the people whining that 8 million is too much for Gundy are the same bunch that are willing to pay 10 million a year for Gruden; even though his record as a college coach (or NFL coach for that matter) doesn't warrant it.

I don't, I PROMISE you I don't...Mullet guy was never on my radar, nor was he on any other fans radar...I wanted chip, REAL BAD...Not gonna lie, it stung...But we ended getting the undisputed second choice on my list.

Again, if true, willing to pay 8.4 million will have Currie's phone lighting up. I'd say several coaches are now interested in the UT job!!!
