Kiffin tweeting a lot about Vols

Talking about he loves Coach Majors and posted Hyams tweet about fake accounts. He is asking TN AD to talk to him and they should.
Kiffin started this he can clean it up.
The right man for the job at the right time

I'm for it but could you imagine if it's just a troll and he turned us down in the end lol I don't know if our AD would go after him. Have zero faith in him at this point.

He didn't respect any of our traditions, constantly referred to USC. No, I want someone who will embrace our traditions. I don't want someone who wants to turn us into the east coast USC. We are TN! We are a storied program with deep tradtition. We are greater than USC.

I wouldn't protest it, but would not be happy about it.

Here is a list of HC’s that left and returned to the same program....wow Johnny Major’s Lane Kiffined Pitt and they took him back....GTFO of here what were they thinking

List of college football head coaches with non-consecutive tenure - Wikipedia
We also brought Doug Dickey back as AD after he left us for Florida. Many fans even thought he lost our bowl game against the gators that year on purpose. It's time to put hurt feelings aside and get the coach with the best chance of winning. For all of his mistakes, Kiffin did get about as much as you could get out of our roster that year.

Like when your woman leaves you in the middle of the night for another man because you weren’t good enough (or maybe because it was just business), and then she soon after gets dumped by the other man because she wasn’t good enough and there’s too much eye candy in LA. Yes, yes, she is very sorry for her actions and you should definitely take her back. Am I living in crazyville?
The problem is that too many people are looking at it this way. This isn't anything like that. This is big business not love relationships. He got an offer from his dream job and like any business man, he took it. It wasn't betrayal it was simply business. Folks need to stop acting like jilted lovers and get back to the business of winning.

It's easier than that. Lou Holtz told Minnesota he would leave them if Notre Dame called. They did. He quit to take the job.

Same thing. Lane told UT he would leave if offered the USC job. They did.

You have to remember USC was all he knew at the time...Trust me if I took a new coaching job I would learn the other teams traditions but would always be a VOL at heart and that's what he was only a Trojan and a successful one...At least before the probation stuff set in....He knows better now and appreciated what we have here.

This may be the most rational post if seen on Kidfin. Two negatives = positive? Circus would continue but could do a lot worse

4 sure on doing worse if its not kiffin then its gonna be a very bargain basement hire which will put UT football down to a unrecoverable place.
Its so bad Cut said no!
Idk of many sitting HCs that would take the job..but wait I forgot AD is looking for coordinators 😵😵😵

Kiffin may be good and all, but what are all ya'll kiffinites going to say when the dude walks out in the middle of the night again? My gut is telling me kiffin wouldn't do that again, but another part of me is concerned a little bit.

Kiffin disrespected everything UT. Hung pictures of Reggie Bush and USC up in the halls. He's a huge risk. Couple good years and he'd bolt again. Sadly he may be the best choice after the fiasco yesterday.

At this point I would take a couple of good years.

I despise Kiffin but in a storm of feces and controversy, lane is right at home. I would make his buyout so extrem that another school would be paying for our next coach if I even entertained it. No one doubts the guys ability to coach and develop, problem is maturity and he's been fired a couple times since the debacle here.

IMO I think lane is trolling the fan base again! JMHO but I could see him trolling the University after he turns the offer (if made) down with something along the lines as "Pffft,as if".

Put in a huge buyout.

If he leaves it means we’re probably winning. Take the buyout money and hire someone better.

He has grown from that..Still cocky and brash but he is the best option out there..Plus who was he gonna hang in the hallways?...He didn't know any UT players...USC is all he knew at the time....He knows better now and I'm willing to give him another chance...Remember make up sex is usually the best lol
