I'm actually starting to think boosters and VFLs did talk to Gruden, but Currie never pursued him. Why else would all those VFLs be tweeting what they did and all the reports of them being contacted by Gruden. I'm thinking Gruden was preparing to get a call and never did. This is another AD botch job.

Not going to get into it but what was said was true. Thank Currie AND Haslam.

You honestly think he would come here after this BS went down? He can coach wherever he wants. Why stroll into this horror show?

He loves UT. Take the crap out that is known nationally and we can have any coach. He was going to get the ball rolling. Why do you think his deal was so short?

If anyone has photoshop skills and could make a picture of Neyland stadium looking like a graveyard or cemetery with something like proposed $340M in renovations. Just tweet that to Currie.

Sorry if this question has been posted already.

If we are getting hammered for not hiring Schiano, shouldn't every university with a HC vacancy be asked if they interviewed him? And if not, why not?

It appears Currie led them on and endorsed the Gruden contact and whatever agreement was reached and proceed with Haslam's agenda in conjunction with only Davenport. Haslam, Davenport and Currie though they had the situation under control until it blew up in their faces yesterday.

The cancer must be removed. Treatment is not an option.
