One thing Im realizing is Ergen may be a micro instead of a helicopter. It sounds like hes absent and has been. Am I reading this right?
I dont know but I know a lot of angry people with deep pockets want him out. The group I hangout with had a teleconference last night and all agreed we were ready to back out if GS was hired. We elected our highest ranking booster to contact the AD and tell them. All of us together is a very significant amount of money. I dont know if we are going to pull that card again for Currie but I know we are going to talk again in the next couple of days. You have to be careful with the nuclear option. I know that several of us today have talked to reps of the AD and expressed the Currie needs to be out.
so what? You don't think he is saying what he has heard from his son? Maybe he is just making it up.
How did the guys who dont lose, lose? Ive just been thinking about it today. Pretty depressing to think they had 5 years to plan this out and still couldnt take down Haslam. And Im not looking for the smart As to come in here and put down Beav or anyone else. Im seriously trying to figure it out. What/who were the pocket aces? Im just baffled how 1 man can have this much power unless hes a freakin Satan worshiping wizard casting a horrible spell on every AD.
advanced search by user name works great here....not smart ass answer just a heads up for future reference !

Back by popular (or something like that) demand. The recap of yesterday, in pictures.
So, we started the day by waking up happy, because it was going to be a Grude day:
![]()
![]()
And then we got hit with the CBS article talking about Gruden and UT talking:
![]()
![]()
And then someone dropped a bomb about a meeting in the AD:
![]()
And we celebrated even more:
![]()
Then...suddenly the mood changed as word started getting out about that guy...
![]()
And the picture became clearer:
![]()
And suddenly, denial set in:
![]()
Then anger:
![]()
And rage:
![]()
Some immediately called the AD and UT
![]()
Others still had a hard time grasping it:
![]()
Then the trolls stopped by:
![]()
And promptly multiplied:
![]()
We implored Freak to stop:
![]()
To which he helped:
![]()
More calls were made:
![]()
And emails sent:
![]()
Before we'd finally had enough:
![]()
And called it a night:

The pocket aces are meeting as we speak according to veryyyy reliable source AV....like to think well here more of that later !!How did the guys who dont lose, lose? And Im not looking for the smart As to come in here and put down Beav or anyone else. Im seriously trying to figure it out. What/who were the pocket aces? Got any names to go with the boosters who were there? Everything you say is plausible yet lacks validation. Was an MOU signed concerning Gruden hire? Any evidence other than your word is all I'm asking. Otherwise why are you doing this?
AtlantaVol mentioned this meeting in one of his posts. That's when they said done deal---MOU signed. I just believe this is pretty much what happened. Maybe AtlantaVol could shed some light on this. I'm just a fan. Don't even live in Tennessee anymore. I just believe when Gruden delayed the announcement, it gave Haslam and Currie a clear path for their deception.
