Yeah I agree. This has to be a tricky time to be a Tennessee football player. We are entering into a different era. Where doing and saying all the correct things isn't enough. You've got to be real. You've got to tell the truth. Even if it's a hard truth. If Butch had ever done that he may have survived here. But he couldn't. The lessons Butch left with Guarantano when it comes to being on camera or speaking in public won't benefit him. Forge your own path. Tell the truth.

I heard on the radio that Les Miles reached out to a booster yesterday after the whole situation, to gauge interest. UT could do a lot worse under these circumstances.

I don’t think that is true.

And bottom line is the guy is a clown show who wears out his welcome everywhere he goes. You don’t get fired in September twice and once in champ game week without being a problem.

What's ironic is the players requested trait for a new coach was honesty. Schiano was a snake in the grass. He was a lying manipulator, very similar to Butch.
