Would love to see Big Jim and Jimmy trot out there with Currie to 'splain themselves. Then UT announce Currie's firing and the Haslam's banning from the athletic program. Won't happen, but would be a great thing.

As much as that tugs at my heart strings, he better bring one helluva staff with him.

I think he's ready to be a HC but not sure he's ready for a stage this bright.

His interviews make me nervous. I know head coaches aren't always good with the media, but he seems...unsure of himself? I dunno. Just don't get a good vibe when he's in front of the media.

With this being his alma mater, he would either rise to the occasion and crush it or get swallowed alive by the pressure and microscope of being the UT head coach.

Hyams has said for weeks GS was in play after Mullen. Last week or the week before, when he moved his timeline up to this week for the hire, he said Peyton was very involved in this search and Fulmer wasn't. It's beginning to look like PM is a Haslam yes man. Maybe for a position with the Browns at some point?

I agree that a lot of them have been supportive, but then you have guys like Chris low going on espn adding to the already unfair assessment of our fanbase. Those guys could go a long way towards changing perception but they would rather pile on.

This is our chance to reset things. Fire Currie and put Blackburn or Fulmer in his place. Time to rid ourselves of the Haslams. We don’t need their money. We don’t need renovations. We don’t need buildings. We need a football program and a football coach.

Something massive needs to happen. Sounds like Haslam has too much power and too many pieces in place who support him to ever be able to do it. He is destroying this program.

The only things I'd be interested to hear is that Currie is fired and that the Haslam's realized they are giant douchebags that destroy the things they love and they will continue to give but shut up.
