One reason I like Brohm is because he has got a lot of Scott Frost in him. He's a passionate guy that has played the game at the highest level and who has developed his own successful style of offense. No player or coach can pull the wool over his eyes - just like Frost. He's a leader of men and earns the respect of every player on the roster everywhere. He understands the value of good D and has used it to win a couple games he should not have at Purdue. He won big at WKU. He has the same record as Frost had at UCF in his first season at a junker with two more years of experience as a HC than Frost, while realizing Frost had that great OC experience at Oregon.
He walks in and rebuilds while doing what all good coaches that can develop players do - make lemonade out of lemons. No outside issues on stuff like Schiano, good family man, etc. I stopped pushing him on here because most of you had turned him off in your minds with him in his first season at Purdue.
Brohm and Venables = winning on the field and as people in my book.
