They weren't. That's significant. There's more. He has been reviled after he left, everywhere that he has been.

Today has been utterly mind blowing

And to see UCLA get their guy in a couple of days, and A&M get a sitting coach in hours... while dropping his last game...

And here was Currie, actually sitting on Schiano... and was going to let him stay at OSU through the bowl game.

There just are not words for this incompetency

Why the hell isn't anyone talking about the fact that this idiot clearly did not do his job and basically lied to all of us by not truly going after coaches like Peterson, Jimbo, Mullen, Frost, Campbell, Taggart, Leach, hell, Norvell or any other good coach???? We are watching FL and A&M make us look like even BIGGER fools by getting a dynamite coach within DAYS! And now we are left with basically scraps... UT, left with scraps while everyone else does it RIGHT AGAIN. UT will be FL and GA's biotch for the next 10+ years ... F'n bookit. Unless someone swings in and saves us, I may still be done with all of this, especially if Currie keeps his job.

these are the steps that need to be made moving forward:

1. Currie needs to resign or be let go immediately.

2. Fulmer and Peyton need to be named to a “coaching search committee” along with whomever else those two deem worthy. They hire the next HC within the next two weeks.

3. Fulmer or someone else interim named interim AD.

That triage must be done immediately in order to get us through the year. Then next year we can focus on a new AD.

Yep. No fanbase should be asked to do in depth investigative research to try and determine whether their new HC enabled a serial child molester. When there are easily accessible national news pieces staying that he did just that, that's what people are going to jump at, and I don't blame them for it one bit.

It should be a no brainier that as an AD you can say with 100% certainty that your new hire has no negative connections to a large sexual assault scandal.

There is a chance that Schiano shares some blame here, and that should be all it takes to eliminate him.

I bet Gruden wasn’t trolling the fan base. I bet he genuinely wanted the job but DA Currie never offered. So F’ed up in so many ways. Curries head needs to roll for this. I’m seriously fed up with my university not caring about its fan base.
