Not that I'd be opposed to those, but it's sad to see how much our "wishlist" has devolved from Gruden and Petersen.

It'll be crazy if Curries gets himself fired. Although it'll just make bringing in a good coach that much harder.

Bring back Kiffin!

This ENTIRE situation is HASLEM. He brought in his guy in currie.

Told everyone Hubbs has known it's been Schiano for a while. So glad the fans have stood up and voiced their opinion.

Venables would be my top target now. Offer him 5+ mil give 10 mil for assistants and let's roll.

Out of all assistants he was always my number 1. No way a sitting head coach comes here now.

Somehow, UT is going to come out of this looking bad while Schiano is made to be some sort of victim of a deranged vigilante fanbase. The media narrative is already shaping up.

I've said all along Currie is an arrogant ass. I just underestimated both his arrogance and his assery.

ESPN truly does hate us. The guy on Sportscenter says that Tennessee's athletic administration lacks leadership and conviction for not sticking to their guns and hiring who they identified as our next coach. Lowe and Finebaum chimed in, too. They tangentially mentioned the PSU situation but were very critical of the fans for our reaction today. They're losing money for a reason.

He and finebaum both did, not that I’m surprised. The SC anchor said “a few” fans protested..... now they’re trying to push the “why would any coach want to go there now” angle. Like our fanbase would have that same reaction to anyone that we hired. Lack of critical thinking idiots.

Gruden was never even on the table as far i know. I honesty think This whole thing was a panic over the new early signing period. Like I’ve said before i would risk that in a heart beat to bring in a high caliber coach.

I'm starting to think we need that VFL staff, minus Gruden (obviously that dream is dead).

Let Tee take the reigns and give him everything he needs to win. It seems that the only way we can be good is with Vols running the show.

Same people would be ripping us for hiring the guy with all the other title IX stuff we have had. Cant win with those guys.

The AD has gone out of their way to put us no win situations though. Stuff like this schiano thing is avoidable if he just isnt offered the freekin job.

Lol. Yeah, they should just hire whoever. So what if 75% of the fanbase can't support him for moral reasons? Who cares? F*** the fans!
