Agreed. I don't believe in calling someone guilty based on a second hand accusation. I also don't think anyone associated with that situation should be a HC. Not only because of the perception of the program, but because it would be hard to recruit. I don't think he should lose his job, but it's not a smart business move to hire a HC who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, even if he's totally innocent, because of the perception.

100% Agree

Exactly. It is a football problem.

But the rock says Schiano protected Sandusky.

That is where I think people are drifting a little too far out.

He may have, he may not have protected Sandusky. You just don't hire a HC who is in the maybe category for something like that, fair or not.

On periscope, trey Wallace said leach was interested, so we Must have turned him down or not responded. Get that man!

There is absolutely no way this hire happens now. And if it does, it's now on EVERYONE with any inkling of power at UT. Not just Currie. He needs to be removed from his position effective immediately before he's allowed to potentially obtain Greg Schiano's signature.

Imagine being an early signing period recruit that Currie promised a good hire. No way I could come here after he tried to make this work.

It hurt me to write this. I didn’t have time to expand and make it longer but wanted to send something.

I know this is a normal d. K move but I seriously was out for last 2 hours, when I last posted rumors were starting to leak that Schiano and Tn were close to finalizing a deal.. wolken tweet...about an hour of hysteria, then had to leave, will somebody give me a run down of what’s been revealed since then? Ty

As others have said please keep putting out tweets and retweeting anti Schiano posts. We do have a voice of we come together.

We don't have to rush this hire. I would rather them take a step back, fire Currie, let a contingent of Fulmer, Blackburn, and Peyton make the hire. Screw the early signing period. Sure it will hurt this class but we saw how disastrous hiring quickly to protect a class can be.

This is what happens when a lone wolf AD thinks he doesn't need the help or advice of anybody else and CIAs a coaching search all by himself. He was either going to be a hero or a heretic. And now we know which.
