I'd like a refund

Coach Jones, Athletics Director Currie:

Typically, when you buy a subpar product, you can return it and get your money back. The product I purchased is far below subpar. I'm not sure if it's supposed to work the way it's working, or if the product I received is just defective, but I'd like a refund. Below are my totals:

4 TN v SC tickets. Section Z13, Row 19, Seats 1-4. - $573

2 nights stay in the Old City, via AirBNB - $425

3 days pay for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I typically make about $450 on Fridays and Saturdays, and about $250 on Sundays. That total is $1,150. Which is a great deal for you, because I'm not charging you for the other wasted Saturdays. So $1,150 is fair.

Circle K - Gas (Friday) - $26.11 (filled up from half)
Chipotle Restaurant - Columbia (Friday lunch) - $11.17
Five Restaurant (Friday night) - $76.68
Wagon Wheel Bar (Friday night) - $42.61
Literboard (Friday night) - $17
Walmart on Campus - $8. No clue what I bought, but I'm sure it was orange.
Pete's Coffee Shop (Saturday morning) - $9.54
Case of beer (Saturday morning) - $20
Tennessee shirt from some random fellow selling them out of a backpack that said something vulgar - $20
Stadium hotdog and souvenir cup (that I threw in the trash) - $11
Good Golly Tamale (Saturday) - $9.54
Sweet P's Bbq (Saturday dinner) - $17.86
Nama (Saturday night) - $20.39
Tupelo Honey Cafe (Sunday) - $39.66
Friends paid gas on the way back, so I'll spare you that much.

Grand total: $2,477.56

Please contact me at your earliest convenience. :hi:

Dude, first you'd have to admit to grossly overspending for a trip to Knoxville. I just spent 4 days in Disney and Universal parks with a hotel room for less than that.

Pardon my French, but some of you are so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up your arses, in two weeks you’d have a diamond.

The point remains: fans deserve more for their money, and there comes a point for many of us that it just isn't worth it. How many of you are ready to drop a couple grand to travel to Tuscaloosa this weekend? Not me! I'll use the season tickets I've already bought, but no travel from here out until a change is made to show that the administration is committed to making us relevant again.

I'd love to see your receipts if you took your family to Orlando then parks for less than $1300/4 days.

IIRC, 2 day Universal passes were around $700 for us.

Haha, well done. Some of you have zero sense of humor. Grouchy Vol fans are the worst...

Timing is everything.

It's time for a new joke.

That joke is so old the last time I heard it I fell off my dinosaur.

Old jokes never die, they just stop being funny.

I've got dibbs on being grumpy.

-------------------------------------------------

It's gump week.

Go Vols!

Do Vol fans stay in that dump when going to the game there?

Win or lose I get out of that town as quick as possible before the stink sinks in and a shower won't get me clean(It took showers after our 5OT win to get the gump stink off me.).

It's a 3:30 game. Get your hotel about an hour away, drive that last hour on Saturday morning.

Go Vols!

Beat the gumps!

I cant speak for your money, but we are going to need every dime for his buyout. So please reconsider your request with the contingency that it is applied to Botch's buyout.

And I didn’t even do the Holiday Inn Worlds Fair Park like I usually do. They wanted $1000 for 2 nights!

Me too. And all jokes aside, if I add up those #’s and times it by as many times as I’ve done that, I’ve easily spent $20,000 on UT football. And I’m not the only one.

Point being, we deserve a better product for our hard earned cash.

Bump....

Let’s get this check in the mail, Currie. I deserve mine more than Butch deserves his!

I oftentimes think the UT admin regards us fans as one would an STD. Had a great time getting them, but now they're here to stay and they itch something fierce.

I thought there was a good idea from another thread to send back apparel to the athletic department. What if everyone who is dis-satisfied with the program sent back just 1 UT apparel item in protest? Put Curries address as the return address in case they refuse the shipment.

There are no guarantees in life. There are no guarantees that anything you decide to buy will give you the value you expect. There are no guarantees a new HC will result with a better outcome.

This is NOT about you. It is NOT about me. It is and should be about those players who choose to go out there and represent their University.

If you aren't happy - just don't buy tickets or attend the games. Let someone who will enjoy the experience do that.

Nobody is going anywhere. UT fans are here to stay. A few talk tough and act like they can walk away. I call their bluff.

Now what?

They're really pushing me man. I never thought I could get to the point where Tennessee Football didn't excite me but it happened this year. I turned off the ends of games and that's something I've never done because I know I only get a finite number of plays to watch a year, good or bad. But this season was an all time low.

If they mess up this hire then I'll probably try to find another team to follow until UT is serious about football again. They don't deserve a fan base like ours.

Found the OP pretty amusing. It was obviously written tongue in cheek.

Some of you need to pull the stick out of your nether regions and shove your true Vol fan card up there.
