I'd argue that Chaney was pretty good as well...but Cut certainly had a good track record as OC.

He'd made a great HC if we'd hired him after the Kiffin year, but IMO the timing isn't right for him now.

Lane Kiffin is more likely to make a return to Knoxville than Dave Clawson. I still have nightmares about the clawfense.

We are now below Vandy finally happened. We can't hire a decent coach. Cutcliffe has done a decent job at Duke wish he would end his career there. Clawson really don't understand at all even though vs Schiano I like him better.

The whole damn country would laugh at us if we brought Kiffin back. There would be so much wrong with that move.

But I would still take Kiffin over Brohm, Norvell, Schiano, Clawson, or Cut.

Ya Cutcliffe had a miracle run with Eli at Ole Miss, lost Eli and they nose dived and they fired him. Goes to Duke, caught lightning in a bottle again with that Renfroe Qb, won a few games, lost him now Duke sucks again. No thanks to Cutcliffe .

Dave Clawson..... ya no . If he was somebody , a school like Ole Miss calabour would have hired him by now.



We got serious money we can spend this go around, we really wanna spend it on those two jokers?

Bob Shoop is probably a good man ... and I guess he was successful at Vandy and PSU, but wow he has really under-performed the last two seasons. His defense consistently gives up big plays at the worst times. Admittedly, our offensive woes have not helped, but man ...

As for the coaching search, I fully expect that we’ll be underwhelmed. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Petersen or Campbell. I know (hope) that the ever-churning rumor mill has no inside information, but I hope that we don’t go in the direction that many sports pundits are saying right now.

Yes, bring back the Clawfense, so we think that Butch's 6 play playbook ( which Scott only used 3 plays from) wasn't so bad after all.
