For now, look at it from the other direction. Haslam, while still an influencer, is not currently setting the agenda for our football program.

Jimmy Sexton is his agent. It has long been implied by insiders that leaks about Mullen would get out in order to get him a raise, but that Mullen is not a real candidate. And it's looking like they were right.

He would be insane to leave there getting paid that kind of money. Making bowl games every year is rockstar status in Starkville. Lot less pressure than coming to Knoxville.
