Guys. All this chatter over Miss. State's coach who shall not be named is hot garbage from
Jimmy Sexton. Seriously can't believe anyone buys this junk.

Gullible is a great word. But when people are sent here to say Mullen. That's what you get. I wonder how many mullenites have been contacted to be quiet?

know what Grumors are...but instead of dealing in those we could try something new. We could "verify" information. Any takers? For instance we can get on www.kgis.org and look to see if He has bought a house yet(spoiler alert- no). We can contact(not me personally- but definitely some of the "in the know") boosters can contact Peyton for comment on "was Gru with u at Calhouns?") Or the classic-call Cherokee Country Club or ask someone who works there if Gru has joined. Whatcha think?

Not that Gruden would have to name his staff as soon as he was introduced but maybe to keep those potential staff members from being bombarded with questions. Idk?

Especially if Auburn beats Bama and CKS maybe being in play for DC?

CKS as in Kirby Smart? Is there a chance he would bolt from UGA to be a coordinator again? I don't think it would happen but that would be hilarious to hear the Dawg fans I am surrounded by. I could see where some of the current position coaches could be poached away but not the head coach...

Mullen is a good coach. I don't think anybody denies that. However, what we want....what we NEED....is not a good coach. It's a GREAT coach. Good just ain't gonna get it done.

interesting. listening to travis and he said earlier Jimbo has/had been interested in a&m. not sure they'd look at Norvell if they can get Fisher.

a lot may depend on what Ark does, and how long they're willing to wait on Malzahn....secretly maybe hoping they lose to Bama this weekend? but if Auburn were to open up, wouldn't Jimbo there make a ton of sense there?

and then FSU open....Kiffin?

ok, i'm stopping now...continue the grude vibrations........but it could get a lot more interesting, real fast.

Nope. I'm in the Monroe->Wesley Chapel->Mineral Springs triangle. There's another one of us around here somewhere that lives in Indian Trail. Union County representin!

I used to live in Matthews, live way up near Huntersville now, have a brother that lives out near Indian Trail.

Cool. I take absolutely everything he does as a sign. Call me crazy, but I think that's his job, honestly. Every follow and every like, to me, are indicative of his approval. That means your deductions were correct, and that is a positive for sure!

Either our deductions (not mine entirely, credit to the board) were correct, or he wants people to believe our deductions are correct.

I believe he is for real, and thus I believe we are on the right path. However, I wouldn't be a very good attorney if I didn't acknowledge alternate possibilities.

Beliefs are strongest when you know what you are choosing between. Blind faith is less powerful than informed faith. Yet, ultimately, we still walk out on the ledge of the unknown.

would it be safe to say if Currie trots out Mullen or someone in his class, that will greatly shorten his stay at UT ?

We are not the place for an up-and-comer, middle of the road, or mid-major coach. We are The University of Tennessee f'n Knoxville! If we end up with anyone less than the consensus top 3 or 4 discussed on this very board, then I hope the UTAD goes bankrupt. Troglodyte or not, the past 10 years have been blindingly apparent for even the casualest of CFB fans.

We are a pinnacle program, and we deserve to be graced with an administration and coach who understand this. One way or another, the UTAD will be judged and rewarded for this, or some heads are going to roll.

Welcome. Any info older than 3 minutes has already been discovered, vetted, and either internalized or discarded. The real drama queens will actually BOTH internalize and discard.

Not sure what this means.. appears to be d***ish. But sorry I've been working all day and havent been able to read this forum for hours. It wasn't a hard question.

I'm guessing he meant Steele.

Even worse than Mullen, Simonton said Greg Schiano's name is back in play due to ties between the school and a certain agent. He was down the list but he's back on the list.

The reality is that for many of the media, agents and agent "proxies" are the only source of information.

Agents have "contacts" that work in all parts of a university that they will use to disseminate information about their clients.

It is not always about getting a raise, but also about moving other negotiations along or raising the perceived profile of their clients.

There are so many openings this year that there is a huge effort by agents to start positioning their clients and building up demand.

It is quite obviously happening most with UT and Florida since we were the first to cut ties.
