I missed the reference to the white whale. I was just naming some that Currie may have talked to other than Gruden. As far as "white Whale" man there isn't many in that category is there?

I realize that this is a touchy subject, but have you ever considered that Currie's white whale isn't Gruden? That while fans are all caught up in one net, Currie is chasing somebody entirely different?

I'm totally cool with that as long as it happens. But Norvell is more like a minnow than a whale.

This is what I think. I think many are getting some info from contacts outside of the UTAD but Hubbs doesn't trust it.

Wouldn’t you want to kill this if you’re UTAD though? By allowing it to continue you’re setting up the fan base to be angry even if you make a greet hire- such as Mullen.

To be honest Jones' body of work prior to UT is more impressive than Frost, Brohm, or Norvell's resumes to date.

It's a gamble IMO. Land Petersen or Patterson, and everybody will be cool. Settle for Satterfield or Norvell after all that build up and you risk burning mattresses at the airport.

Don't disagree but Currie or Gruden could squash it and they haven't. Whether he's responsible or not under your scenario he's using it.
