I can't believe that Chip Kelly is unemployed, we were apparently willing to spend $10 million on Gruden, and we're gonna trot out Brohm or Bobo.

Don't believe he would lose to all 3 every year, I believe he's too good at development and X's and O's for that.

But I very much question his championship caliber. Not going to spend another day arguing with those who think he is a championship coach. I don't see it and that's my opinion. Extremely good football mind but I've never seen a sign of that killer instinct it takes to reach the very top Helicopter **** he is not.

Not gonna happen.

Said it a few days ago. The worse the names we see getting floated out, the better our chances are of landing Gruden or someone of that caliber.

You don't go from offering Gruden $10 million/year to giving Brohm $3.75 million. I hate the phrase smoke screen, but that's what those names are.

i think Taggart would kill it. That doesnt mean thats who i want as my first couple choices but i think his offense would be scary here with the types of players he would be able to get. I know kids love the guy too.

Schiano lost to Butch in 2010.

Keeping the tradition alive.

He also had some really good years at Rutgers. Not an easy place to win. I'm actually a little surprised he hasn't gotten another shot as a college HC already.

I was ok with Taggart until I read the article that reminded me he had some conditioning issues at Oregon at the beginning of the year. I’m off now. Reminded me of something Butch would do.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd take Schiano over Venables.

Schiano has been a HBC before. Won big at friggin Rutgers. No contest.

Of all the names being tossed around, Norvell and Brohm have the most potential to be just like Butch Jones, but that's JMO.

I said earllier....list your top 6 picks......cross out the top 4 and compare the percentages of most of those posters on this board and you may be shocked at which coach comes out with the highest percentage.....yes you got it.....Norvell

so you better hope for a better surprise
