Last Sunday morning, I was at work. I left just around the time the news of butch being fired was coming out. I had to ride the whole way home without being able to check here to keep up. Now that he's gone, I sit here at work again. Waiting... I'm going to leave at the same time and hope more good news presents itself again. Call me superstitious, but I'm doing it for not only myself, I'm doing it for all of VN. Gruden to the Hill.

Guys I’m not being negative but i have to imagine if the hire isn’t announced before next Saturday that it’s not Gruden. Only reason you wouldn’t announce is because you don’t have anyone yet, or because your coach is active with another team. Everyone said Currie gave Gruden a deadline. You have to imagine they would announce before Vandy

I’m not sure what’s going on. But I know someone was there around lunch they let me know that JG was there. I believe that source. It’s real simple, he gets on a plane around 2pm flies for how ever many hours. Seattle is 2 hours behind us. This picture was not taken until around 7pm. Did anyone see him there before 7pm? No

Gotta remember Gruden will be getting assistants..I doubt all of them are just sitting around without jobs waiting for the call..

Freak on your end how does this Gruden search compare to 2012 ? I know there’s been a lot of changes but was curious because there were times when it was crazy then also

I believe it is over fellow Vol fans. I have absolutely no confidence whatsoever right now. I'm sure we talked to Gruden and threw out numbers, talked about a potential staff just like we did in 2012. It probably never got to the point of what we were led to believe. And if it did get close, he obviously said no or backed out. Just as reporters said and we wanted to believe it was all a smokescreen. We have been mislead and in some cases lied to I am afraid😔

Seems legit. Cause communicating through a MNF broadcast is the most efficient way of letting Tennessee know he is interested? I mean, the number to Currie’s cell, is difficult to dial.

Right. But not many coaches come in and have every assistant ready to do. Gruden himself would save this class, and our fan base. You could go ahead and announce him and let the rest play out.

I don’t believe he would say anything on MNF. If he is not interested I think he would release a statement through his agent.

Not my info just bringing what I saw. I think IF that is true Currie already knows. However if he leaks controlled info that says Gruden isn’t coming deal fell though nobody would believe it. We would all say smokescreen. If Gruden gets on TV and says “I’m 100% not coming Im signing a new ESPN contract Tuesday” some would not believe him but most would be like welp it’s over

It's also telling that every single "insider" or person with some knowledge has disappeared or decided to "step away for a while, stop posting for now, etc"

I wish AtlantaVol could let us know something right now if it is indeed over. He is the only one really who knows what is going on and it's not secondhand, third hand info from a "source".
