My first 3 years at Eglin I drove 85 everyday north of 10. It was awful.

Fulmer was too paranoid to bring in great coaches and it all started with him being so hard headed about Randy Sanders.

Outside of Lovey I can't think of one great coach that Fulmer produced that wasn't already on Johnny's staff.

I'm a Grudenite but after watching what we had on the field tonight I am not sure he would want to come and rebuild a program that has been rebuilding for 10 damn years and have absolutly NO OFFENSIVE LINE. I know we are young, we are hurt, we are this, we are that, WE ARE JUST BAD AND HAVE FAILED DEVELOPE ANYBODY.

Somebody whom ever the next coach is needs to realize that the skill set we have right now is slow and a zone blocking scheme is something that they can not do. Make it simple, block the man in front of you.

That's all the info I have to go on. JG hasn't looked good in any of his games. His deep ball is terrible, he's reluctant to run, he stares-down receivers. He's not being coached up and he doesn't seem to have that switch he can flip to just make something out of nothing. Not saying he can't be good.

Confused with someone else.

I have stated that I'm not sure he's a slam dunk to be Saban or Carroll-like successes and that he comes with some risk. But to use his NFL record as proof of his inability to translate to college coaching is quite flawed, and simply put, stupid.

I also am on record as saying while I not sure he's necessarily the "best" choice, he IS[/I] undoubtedly the best choice to unify this fanbase.

Call me crazy, but tomorrow would actually make total sense to announce Gruden. Just got beat down, lost bowl eligibilty. Announcing Gruden would reenergize the fans and players going in to Vandy week.

Amen. I knew what I was doing, but I feel it may be about time to go home...

We've been down here since January of this year. We knew it wouldn't be a vacation, like we're used to. We don't hate it here, we love the beach and our proximity to it, but it isn't home.

At least we're heading home for Christmas. Florida and Christmas just don't go together.
