Just to recap:

The first Gruden “no” was mentioned to have occurred on Friday.

Now, he and Currie are meeting in 24 hours to hammer things out.

That should get us to mid-week, when we will get more reports that Gruden has said no a 2nd time (but not from the media we hear from when we know it’s a no go).

Probably around Friday there will be more reports that TN and Gruden are trying one more time.

That gets us to when we start hearing some rumblings, small leaks, and smoke on Sunday that Gruden accepted the deal (this is what occurred this past Wednesday).

On Monday the story is officially broken that TN has hired Gruden, and the press conference is on Tuesday. Gruden talks about it the entire time on MNF...phenomenal exposure.
