So I never get the flu. I cannot remember the last time I had it, and I never get the shot. That said, apparently some people (like me) do "get" the flu, but their response to it is fundamentally different than others. No coughing / sneezing / etc.

I do think people should get the shot. I live with an RN who gets it every year, and I have my kids get it as well. I just never show symptoms like many people do.

I’ll let y’all know what I can. But to be honest I probably will not have much to say. If you have been following some of my post you know I was asked to not post too much in a public forum. I have no problem letting those here know things because we are all in this together and just want our program back to its rightful place.

Hawk, I'm waiting to hear from the NG.

Talked to a retired F-16 pilot and got some info. I already knew I was too old to pursue the Air Force or Navy, but I got some direction from him. This Army Reserve kid I talked to was condescending, and led on like an 18 year old kid is more adequate than a college grad in his 30s... yeah, okay. Turned me off. I get they seek the youngins, but knowledge, wisdom and age are hard to neglect, at least in my opinion.

I know you're partial to the Blackhawk, but what are your thoughts on the Apache and Chinook?

Just got back from Conners Steakhouse. Damn good meal. True story, waiter sees me and my friend waiting to get seated and he comes by like he is walking past and says Gruden party of 1 and turned and smiled, I said SOON and he said dang right. About that time 2 more guys came in and came over and high fived. They said were getting Gruden, I said dang right. About that time too female servers came by and nodded and grinned. I was pretty cool. SOON! I BELIEVE! GRUDEN TO THE HILL!

Last night I had to eat a burger before going to bed.

Tonight I'm going back for yet another beer.

I'm going to make it to one of the parties. Putting faces to names would prove fascinating.

One more news cycle down with limited damage.

Thank you for the little bit of support there. I didn't want to come off as an ass, but sometimes I just find it difficult to sit around and say absolutely nothing. It's gotten me in "trouble" more times than I care to remember, but I don't guess I'll ever change.

No, People with money aren't that much different (at least not the ones i know) they may buy more expensive things but they are still down to earth. The main thing is when around them be yourself and they will respect that.

Finally got caught up. Did not want to be one of those people! AV is a great human being. Hope all of you have a safe evening. Please do not drink and drive. I never have the flu, and I get a shot every year. Our students come to school sick as dogs with the mess so I take a proactive step to spare myself the agony. JMO.
