Means Jon Gruden is at this moment the head coach of Tennessee football.

Been saying this for the longest time, it's time we start connecting dots people. All of this doesn't end up with Jon Gruden being the biggest smokescreen in sports history for some google coach.

How long would it take a Jon Gruden coached team with Kevin Steele, Drinkwitz, and Dale Jones on the staff to get Tennessee in the top 5? Just threw those three assistant coach names out because they've all been rumored to be on his staff.

I didn't read what he said till after I heard what I posted. I have been very busy today at work and missed the crazy stuff and had my convo around 4. Just headed home myself now.

Plus the host said he requested that he didn't want to talk about job openings, while saying what you posted.


My opinion.

He's pulling a major,colossal, nationwide troll job on a place he holds dear,that also surrounds his in-laws or it's a good possibility that he signed.

Side note. It's not impossible that Currie and the UT contingent that made the trip was in the same room with Gruden when he was on the air.

Honestly, I think it means that Gruden loves the attention as much as he did in 2012. He will string us along a bit more, but ultimately decline "again". He's the ultimate troll. And we fall for it every time. jmo

These searches sometimes re-energize me. Heck I’m 35 years old and my earliest sporting memories are attending Vols games at age 5 with my dad. 30 years later we have talked on the phone 3 times this week with the main subject basically the coaching search. This sport and fandom as a Vols fan is pretty incredible and no doubt a life long investment.

Now bring me Gruden.

Get a feeling it is done, the media silence order is in effect and fans are just going to have to sit tight for a bit over a week. Oh yeah and there is a game this weekend.
