Its a terribly kept secret were pursuing him for the job. He even asked on his radio interview for the hosts to not talk about it - then he dropped the Rocky Top nugget. UT administration cant be deaf to the fans expectations. There were over 4K viewers on a periscope today that almost all viewers knew was a dead end before they even loaded it - yet they still watched. The fanbase is beyond riled up and youd have to literally be living under a rock to not know how obsessed we all are with Gruden. So if its a no-go they really should issue a statement that its not happening. They havent. And Gruden teased us this morning. Still nothing from the University. To me, thats great news.

Yeah, man, I personally think it was done yesterday.
When Bubba said words to the effect of "my work here is done, see you in 10 years for the next coaching search" ... and Beav went fireworks-tuxedo mode on twitter ... and Atlanta Vol said something like "done deal" ... and Tuesday said he was celebrating with "twisted tea and vodka" (he's Tee's friend...celebrating with tea, get it?) ...
... when all four of those things happened independently within about 10 minutes, I was convinced the deal was closed.
Now we're in the quiet time. Thank goodness for periscopes out of local airports to keep us engaged until the announcement comes.
Go (to the fence) Vols!
