Again i will say there is way too much effort seemingly being put into this Gruden thing and no one like Currie, Gruden, or anyone else has squashed it yet. If you look at this thing from an objective standpoint and take the emotion out of it, Currie knows he's got too much to lose at this point if we do not get Gruden and then he ends up with someone like a Mullet, I mean Mullen... which is exactly how it will be perceived and taken by this fanbase. What happened to the angle of Peterson several days ago, and the fact that Currie supposedly met with him?
Bottom line, at this point, like it or not, agree with it or not, we all know that if he doesn't get Gruden or someone close to that level, the UT fanbase will roast him and the press conference of Mullet or whoever else lower tier he gets, will be met with some anger, disappointment, resentment, and a big yawn... the coach will have an instant uphill battle winning over the fanbase ...
