The Hubbs message board post doesn't really say what you want it to. It says he got a "message" that a deal was done. He hasn't been able to confirm. In times like these, Hubbs probably gets dozens of messages saying all sorts of stuff on a daily basis.

You are 100% right but it is not like Hubbs post rumors all day. If he is willing to at least put it out there, then he believes something is going on.

he didn't really put anything out there...really. said nothing to report, would if there was....

he confirmed the rumors are in fact swirling....

He says he received a message and said he could not validate it. If it was someone he thought was bankable he would report it. He also goes on to say he has heard the rumors. I took it as him saying he has heard from an unverified source, like someone on here, and can't substantiate it. At the end he even says if he had news he would report it.

Is Hubbs one to even say something like that though if he thought the message was bs? Seems like he wouldn't say anything at all.
