Official Jon Gruden Thread 34

I haven't gotten to read full article. What did he say that is so revealing? I just caught the he said that Gruden would listen which isn't a reach, imo.

Cliff notes version:

Blackburn and Gruden have been friends for 30 years. Were both at UT at the same time. Developed a lasting friendship, so they talk.

Blackburn said Gruden would be open and "Tennessee is like home for him and he'd be a great fit."

Harris later confirmed on Twitter that there was additional conversation "off record" that was even more credible... which tells us there's more to this story than we've been told.

Another question. Why would Currie be going to Charlotte if Gruden was supposedly here last night and also was supposedly flying to Tampa yesterday morning.

what if he was Going to Charlotte to finalize some things with Jon before he went home to Tampa (better to have that kind of meeting there than in Knoxville). Then Gruden flew home and later to Knoxville to do whatever was done last night! Or what if he was just meeting with Grudens people who were still in Charlotte even after Gruden flew out.

Try out a new brewery, Catawba Brewery downtown Charlotte, my buddy Jameson is the manager there and is a UT Grad. They are going to host a UT/WVU tailgate next yr. Going to be big. They have some great beers

Awesome! I will definitely mark that down. I think I've had one of their beers before. White Zombie I believe.

Secretariat running at the Belmont is one of the best moments in sports history. Not just because we saw a glimpse of perfection but because it showed people what is possible when you aim for greatness.

Didn't I say Ergen was the "horse" and Beaver was the jockey...?

Depends on which side of this hire you sit on.

Is on the side of I would pee my pants for days if Gruden is coming, especially with the staff I heard he'd have. I would run around town celebrating with soiled pants and all like a spoiled toddler. So, good peepee?

This place is great! That's why I spend 18 hrs/day here.

We're down to analyzing facial features and moles. I like it.
